Empowering Gaza’s Future Doctors

The Jifan Medical Scholarship is an educational initiative dedicated to supporting talented Palestinian medical students in Gaza who have the academic ability and determination to become doctors, but face financial barriers that may prevent them from completing their education.

Through full tuition support, academic follow-up, and transparent donor engagement, we help students continue their medical journey and prepare for a future of healing, service, and community leadership.

We believe that supporting one medical student is more than funding an education. It is an investment in the future of an entire community.

Our Story

The Jifan Medical Scholarship was established in loving memory of Jifan, whose life reflected compassion, generosity, and a deep belief in the power of education.

She believed that education gives people dignity, creates opportunity, and enables communities to build a stronger future, especially during times of hardship.

Inspired by her values, the scholarship carries her legacy forward by supporting medical students in Gaza and helping them become the doctors their communities urgently need.

Each student supported through the program represents a continuation of that legacy: a life of knowledge, compassion, and service.

Our Mission

Our mission is to remove financial barriers for academically qualified and financially deserving Palestinian medical students, enabling them to complete their education and serve their communities as skilled, compassionate physicians. We aim to provide students with stability throughout their studies so they can focus on learning, developing their abilities, and preparing for their future role in Gaza's healthcare system.

Our Vision

We envision a future in which talented students in Gaza are not forced to abandon their medical education because of financial hardship. By investing in future doctors, we seek to contribute to a stronger, more resilient healthcare system led by professionals who understand their community, share its experiences, and are committed to serving it We aim to provide students with stability throughout their studies so they can focus on learning, developing their abilities, and preparing for their future role in Gaza's healthcare system.

What we do

The Jifan Medical Scholarship supports eligible Palestinian students who are enrolled in, or officially accepted into, Human Medicine programs at accredited universities in the Gaza Strip. The program provides:

Selected students receive support for their university tuition fees throughout the scholarship period, subject to the program’s academic requirements and continued eligibility.
